- BD Affirm VPIII specimen collection and transport kit provides 72-hour ambient temperature transport and stability
- Ambient temperature transport system (ATTS) should be used with those specimens where transport times are expected to exceed 1 hour at ambient temperature (15 – 30° C) or 4 hours at refrigerated temperatures (2 – 8° C)
- Becton Dickinson's specimen collection and transport kit consists of 10 sterile swabs; transport tubes and caps; and 0.3-mL ATTS reagent dropper dispensing tool
- Transport tubes are translucent with natural color caps
